Frequently Asked Questions
We are open Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, year-round. Families choose a Half Day (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM), Full Day (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or Extended Day (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) schedule; the Infant program is offered as Full Day or Extended Day.
We serve children from 6 weeks through 6 years of age across three programs: Infant (6 weeks–18 months), Toddler (18–36 months), and Primary (3–6 years).
Catered lunch is optional at $80 a month, billed separately from tuition — or send lunch from home. Snacks are provided, and Meridian is a nut-free campus. Breakfast is not served at school, so please make sure your child has eaten before arrival. Allergies and dietary needs go into a written plan you agree with the Director. See the allergy and medication rules
Children must be symptom-free for a full 24 hours (without the use of symptom-suppressing medication) before returning to school. This means 24 hours with no fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. See the full illness policy
Children will only be released to individuals listed on the authorized pick-up form. Photo identification will be required for anyone the staff does not recognize. See the full pick-up policy
Monthly tuition for the 2026–2027 school year runs from $950 to $1,500 depending on the program and schedule. The complete rate card — every program, the registration fee and deposit, and both discounts — is published on our Tuition & Fees page.
Our ratios vary by program: Infant classrooms maintain a 4:1 ratio, Toddler 6:1, and Primary 8:1.
We follow a child-led approach to toileting readiness. Our teachers work closely with families to support this milestone at each child's own pace, using consistent routines and positive encouragement.
Availability varies by classroom, so apply early. If your preferred classroom or start date is not open, we keep your family on file for that classroom and call you when a seat fits. Touring first helps, because we already know your child and what you are looking for. Current openings are published on our Availability page.
Children transition to the next program at developmentally appropriate times. Our teachers collaborate across classrooms to ensure smooth transitions, and your child will already be familiar with the Meridian community.
Every guide who leads a Meridian classroom is Montessori-trained. You can read each one’s own training on our Teachers page.
